Hey Everybody
well my first semester is done of Millar College of the Bible and it has been really good. God has been doing some super neat things. We had a day of prayer were we spent a whole day in prayer in different ways and that really impacted me. It was incredible how the whole atmosphere of the school changed and my own outlook was so bright and hopefilled. Everything is so much more beautiful when you are close to God. It's crazy how easy it is for me to forget that then get caught up in life and forget about putting a lot of time toward my relationship with God.
The winter break was really fun, I got to hang out with so many great people. Jonathon Danyluk just encourages and inspires me so much. I love his passion and zeal for God so much even when he's not sure he just goes for what he thinks God wants. and from what I've seen he's usually right. Also Jeff Olson is super encouraging, I love hearing his heart and experiences. We stayed up until 4:30 in the morning at Dallas Valley just talking about a lot of different things. I love it when people have faith in God, when they hear stories of miracles or God doing something really amazing and their first inclination is not doubt and skepticism. Like really maybe there is a time to be careful about believing something before we know it's true but shouldn't we give God the benefit of the doubt? Isn't it better to give glory to God at the risk of being wrong instead of saying it's man making something up. Maybe nobody knows what I'm talking about but that's what I've really been thinking of lately. I know that there is so much more to christianity than what we are living in. We have accepted mediocrity too often and not lived at the standard that God has set.
"Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature" Mark 16:15
I believe that we have changed Jesus's word in our understanding to "Stay where you want to be and tell people about Jesus if they bring it up in conversation" Like 30 times weaker then the command of Jesus. or even read the next two verses and how many people don't follow God's calling because they are afraid to get hurt. I learned in bible college that the number one reason that people don't follow the missionary call is because of their family pressuring%2
