My last post seemed to me to be more morose and serious. I was listening to a Kris Valloton sermon and he said "Seriousness is not a gift of the Holy Spirit". Haha that made me smile. Life lately has been really interesting, this last week I worked 66 hours and this week I am working 72, it is far easier this week though and even kind of fun. There are a few people that get angry and swear at me because of some of the company's policy's and I misheard this one lady and she got very mad but those examples are very few and far between. Most people are really joyful and kind, how can you have a bad day when 100 people end their phone calls by telling me to have a good day?
I love how in the christian life we are always going from one extreme to the other by accident. We need to shy away from total seriousness and reverence all the time and also a constant "party" atmosphere. One misses out on the majesty of God and the other on the abounding life there is in him. Jason upton says "Who you are is always more important than what you do". God's been teaching me how important a right heart attitude is, and out of that flows works. Faith without works is dead, and yet works without faith or love are nothing. "Let me be real with you God, please transform my heart."
