Hey Guys,
The new trimester has just started and things are going really well. Yesterday we actually had the police come to our house because we were praying so loud the police came thinking there might have been a fight. God has really been stirring hearts here and giving us a new level of hunger and love for him. I think every day of last week at least one class was taken over by the Holy Spirit as either just a wave of intercession or holy joy would sweep over the class.
This trimester God is calling me to a deeper level of faith in certain things and just surprising me with his goodness.
I want to share just one testimony from this last break. Some of my friends and I decided to go on a Treasure Hunt. This is where we pray for a bit and ask God where he wants to send us and who he wants to send us to. We write down Names, Locations, Appearance, Unusual, and Prayer Items that we feel like God is telling us. Then we go out and find them. It is ridiculously fun and adventurous. I love the way God moves.
So we are driving and after a lot of cool little miracles we go for one more treasure before I drop everybody off. We are looking for a white house in North Central Regina, and of course there are a whole lot of white houses but as we come near one with the number 13 on it I feel like this is the house. So we get out and my best friend Tim leads us up to the house. On his list he has for appearance that they will be a big person, they will struggle with depression and broken relationship. So he opens with "Hi there, we're just some friends going on a treasure hunt. And it looks like from our map that you are God's treasure... then he asks "Do you struggle with Depression?" and this lady doesn't really answer but when we ask if we can pray for her for anything she says "Yeah, my husband and I got a divorce in January and now we are fighting over our four kids and it is just ruining me. I went to the hospital for depression later on in January and it's still tough." She just starts totally opening up her heart with these strangers she had never met. So we pray for her and we could just feel the peace and the presence of God. Then she says "thanks so much, you guys came at the exact right time." And we walk back to the car in awe that God would choose to use us like this and his goodness.
